The association represents the interests of its members — like-minded individuals — and points out that all members are responsible for themselves (individual responsibility). All are engaged on a VOLUNTARY basis, with a focus on WORKING TOGETHER. The NON-PROFIT activities of the association are not aimed at generating profit and serve, among other purposes, to protect and care for swans. Members are obligated to promote the interests of the association to the best of their ability and to refrain from anything that could damage the reputation and purpose of the association. They must observe the association’s statutes and the resolutions of its governing bodies. For all disputes arising from the association relationship, the internal arbitration tribunal of the association is to be called. It decides to the best of its knowledge and belief, and its decisions are final within the association. The association reserves the right to claim damages and/or reimbursement of expenses from a member if the member seeks another institution instead of the arbitration tribunal in case of disagreements.
